The 2025 MFA Thesis Exhibition Series features two exhibitions highlighting work by UMD Department of Art MFA students. Ripple/cluster, on display from April 17–May 1st, features work by MFA candidates Margaret Walker and Trevon Coleman. Substitute Reality, on display May 9–23, features work by MFA candidates Jill McCarthy Stauffer and Varvara Tokareva.

Future Histories: New Acquisitions at The Driskell Center, showcases the diversity and depth of Black art through significant additions to The Driskell Center's collection since 2018. Many of these works will be displayed for the first time, offering a fresh perspective on Black art's past, present and future.
