The University of Maryland, as a founding member of the Alliance for the Arts in Research Universities (a2ru), will be taking part in the 2023 Emerging Creatives Student Summit, “The Future: By Design,” which will be held March 2–5, 2023 at the University of Cincinnati.
The University of Maryland will nominate up to four students to attend the summit (two students from arts-based units and two students from non-arts-based units.) Arts for All will cover the reasonable cost of travel and accommodations for the students accepted into the program.

Interested students should send a one-page document explaining their interest in the Emerging Creatives program, along with the name and contact information for their advisor(s) to arts@umd.edu by January 9, 2023. Please note that this date is to enable us to respond a2ru by their deadline.
