Molding et al. examines architectural molding as the most overlooked, yet highly influential, element of architectural design. The exhibition examines molding through the lenses of form, materiality, history and spatial experience. Through original research, drawings, models, material studies and full-scale fabrication, the exhibition considers what one of architecture’s oldest and most ubiquitous design elements can contribute to contemporary architectural practice.
