From orchestra performances to virtual reality showcases, Arts for All offers funding to support UMD’s expansive arts community. We support a number of events throughout the year that center on or meaningfully include the arts. Successful proposals often include additional funding partners and an interest in engaging with Arts for All to further amplify and connect events to our entire community.
About Event Funding
Arts for All provides event funding awards (on average $200 - $500 per event) to support artistic and creative elements of programming taking place on University of Maryland’s campus.
- Funding is available to UMD faculty, staff and students for events that align with the goals of Arts for All and expand opportunities to engage with the arts.
- Eligible events should be welcoming and accessible to the entire university community.
- Funding is intended specifically to support the artistic components of an event (e.g. artist or performer fees, creative materials, arts related programming) or other expenses that directly contribute to the event’s artistic experience!
- Requests should be submitted at least 30 days prior to the event date. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year and are reviewed bi-weekly. Funding is limited and awards will continue while resources remain available.
- All awarded funding must be transferred to a USource account. With this in mind, applicants must have an appropriate USource account available before submitting a request.
