About the Event
The Stamp Gallery is pleased to present Afterhours, an exhibition featuring six artists whose works examine obsolescence and its impact on public and personal spheres. Together, Cecilia Kim, Leslie Holt, Chris Combs, Trystan Luah, McCoy Chance and Electra Pelias provide a wide and in-depth exploration of how capitalism defines purpose, utility and worth. Most importantly, these artists invite viewers to reconsider how these systems of categorization mold their relationships with objects, spaces, and one another. Join the Gallery for refreshments and to meet the artists. More at stamp.umd.edu/gallery.
